St Agnes is my great grandmother's patron saint. For me at least my great-grandmother is definitely a saint too! She taught me more about the Catholic faith than anyone. She helped me to have a personal relationship with Jesus. When Grammy Agnes died, I was still a child and inconsolable. That night I went to bed crying, and then my bed and room was filled with the scent of roses. She wore on her person and clothes a rose scented powder. I was comforted by this. I felt her presence. Just wanted to share.
