Great reflection! The world sees live as emotional, contractual, and potentially bound by time (“I fell out of Love). Love is a daily decision, a minute by minute commitment to Will the good of the other without counting the cost to ourselves. Thanks! God bless!

Amen, I love what you said about love being a daily decision/ to will the good of the other without counting the cost to ourselves. I hope that I can attain this more each day.

And this means willing peace and justice for all, swallow our pride and even wish the good for our oppressors!

Of course we must wish the good for those that treat us wrongly, but we do not become doormats or enablers of bad behavior either. Peace and justice of course is what we seek, but these things might still need to be discussed within the context of the situation. Love does not mean relativism, and or celebrating sin.

Your reflection is spot on and a beautiful challenge as are the comments below. I say challenge because for me,at least, it is daily challenging and must be accomplished through daily prayer to be filled with God's love🙏🕊
