Excellent interpretation of one of the most challenging parables in the NT! I didn't know about the overcharging and the "prudent" steward forgoing his cut. That finally makes sense. I've always wondered about this story.
I know something of you and your leadership.Sometimes,we must be obediant to the first calls of the Lord trying to reach us,and and have us leave a certain area, before certain coming destruction.Take the story of Lot being persuaded by the Lord and the two angels,to leave Sodom;Genesis 19th chapter.I have attempted to preach the gospel in Kentucky, but it falls on hardened deaf hears!

Amen, well said. Your reflection has struck a cord in me to think upon, pray upon!
