In a way, I can also relate to your struggles as a writer. These days, it isn't easy to write for a Catholic audience. My blog has had more viewers before I found a deeper revelation about my Catholic faith. And even after that, it isn't easy to match my writings with what some Catholic readers have in mind. I, too, wanted to write about suffering...and the comfort God gives us amidst our suffering. In fact, I believe one related verse contained His earlier calling for me. ("Comfort, O comfort my people, says your God." - Isaiah 40:1, NRSVCE). Mother Teresa sought the poorest among the poor, yet she herself has mentioned that those who are truly hungry are those who are hungry for love. I felt called for that, among those who are starving not only for bread but for God's Love. I do pray you carry on. It may not be apparent at times, but God has called you and through your life's journey, you can preach mercy to those who need it most. God bless you!
