Amen🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏Converts put us cradle Catholics to shame, and that is as it should be! Thank you for waking up our faith, our love even unto death. I love history, love to study it. Do you know the era of time when the Church of Christ flourished the most, was the strongest? The eras of persecutions!

Fantastic blog/article. We are in the middle of a spiritual war and the sooner we realize it, the sooner we can start fighting it properly (with the grace of the sacraments).

Incredibly powerful article! I totally agree with you. Muttering some extra prayer at the beginning of Mass doesn't cut it—we have to LIVE like the Eucharist matters. And we can never, ever again let the bishops shut down our churches, no matter what. In 2020, I wrote several letters to our bishop reminding him that his job was to save souls, not be the health police for his parishioners. Not that that changed anything... but it might have if more people had written letters...

I agree with you Peter. It takes humility, and it takes courage. I think courage is greatly lacking especially among our leaders including Pope Francis! We are not changing the world for the glory of God and the good of human beings. We are accomdating and conforming to the world from the top down. How sad!!!!!

God says: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones” (Isaiah 57:15).

We can be contrite, but not humble towards God: but both are required. Without humility toward God, there is no grace even if we feel sorrow for what we have done. Repentance requires this humility in order to get close to God; then, we are prepared for participation in the Eucharist. See James 4:5-10; 1Peter 5:5-7; Philippians 4:6-7; Proverbs 3:5-6; Matthew 6:25-34, 11:28-30; Psalms 37:7, 55:22; Isaiah 26:3-4, 30:15, 55:6-9; John 6:63; Galatians 5:16-26; Romans 13:14; 6:13; 8:28.
