This is beautiful, Judson, but give us Charismatics a break. Our love for and joy in the Lord is sincere, and we believe the Lord and His great love for us was meant to be celebrated! Your grandfather was a good Christian man. His story needs to be told!
I'm not criticizing it - it just isn't something I'm comfortable with.... I would prefer Traditional Latin , but have to put up with Norvus Ordo. I like smells, bells, classical hymns and quiet contemplation.
I understand. A lot of Catholics are not comfortable with it. Some of my children and grandchildren are not comfortable. In fact I was not for a very long time before surrendering to the Hold Spirit. I also love the older Latin Mass, not just because its in Latin, but because even in English its a beautiful Mass! The Novis Ordo doesn't cut it for me! The old hymns are still very beautiful to me, and I love the Gregorian Chant!
