There is also the vertical humility towards God that opens us up to His grace.
1Peter 5:5-7 says to: "be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all of your care upon him; for he cares for you."
This is the type of humility that lifts us to the next spiritual level (cf. James 4:5-10).
Perhaps out of self defense out of being excluded from many higher social circles from my youth up,I have strived to gain some noteworthiness on social media cstes,as a "bearer of the gospel,"and a known marketer.Yet,even seeking that accelade,without God administring,it,is perhaps prideful!
