It is indeed Charity, and not Chastity, which separates men from the boys. It is extremely difficult - but necessary - to "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." It is practical too, insofar as the blessings you wish for yourself, which you pray will also be given to your persecutors and tormentors, would likely turn them into your friends, rather than your enemies. Without an unexpected infusion of Grace - perhaps resulting from one of my enemies praying for me - I would probably still be at enmity with Jesus Christ Himself.
