Hooray for this refection! I plead guilty to not letting Jesus be Jesus. I just recently have been praying to know and love the real Lord and let Him in. This reflection confirms I am at the very least heading in the right direction, finally!

Mostly, pray for the courage to set aside the idea of Jesus you have placed in a box of your own making and embrace the Lord as He is.” - Amen 🙏. I was having a challenging moment trying to understand what God was saying to me as I read the longer than usual Gospel this morning. Then as I read the last paragraph of your reflection these words really resonated with me. This will be my prayer today and every day as I start my day. Thank you Deacon for your beautiful reflection on the Gospel today.
