Thank you for the beautiful reflection on today’s Gospel reading. “Fear, worry, anxiety—all these emotions present us with blessed opportunities. They show us where we have cracks we need to fix, areas in our lives where we have yet to invite God to enter.” - I really needed this reminder today.
Amen and bravo! Financially I don't have much, and I cannot work on a regular basis. Like the disciples and Pharisees, I have both witnessed and personally experienced Jesus coming to my aid or the aid of others.When in need, He comes to help me in very unexpected ways! Yet still, I often lay awake all night worrying, planning how to fix things and just plain being stressed. I wonder if I will ever learn to trust? Still the Lord doesn't give up on me - Thanks be to God!
