My goodnes, I too thought I was reading the reflection of a young adult somewhere between 25 and 30! And even at that I was impressed by someone so young! To learn Ian is a sophmore in high school, around 16 or 17 amazes me! Tell him his reflection spoke to my heart and mind and gave much to relect on!
I was imagining as I read this that your son might be a young father, with some years of experience to be able to impart such insight. That he is so young gives evidence of his deep prayer life, and I am thankful for his youthful faith. Let him know that I enjoyed reading his reflection!
Like the embittered scribes and Pharisees that Jesus seemed to continuosly encounter, there ARE going to be people who may not accept us or our ministry in any shape, form or fashion!(Pray for our enemies,Mathew 5:44)
When someone responds with “I don’t know” or “maybe”, it could be that what has been presented to them thus far has not been enough. The Catholicism that I grew up with did not end up being my present Catholicism. My present Catholicism contains essential knowledge that I later found in Scripture which had not been presented to me at that time.
Kelly, That like was also my yes :)
Well done! Sign Ian up.
You're in charge of proofing, Deacon! :D
