The peace of God is the happiness or contentment that a Christian experiences regardless of circumstances when we unconditionally trust in God. It is a fruit of the Spirit; therefore, it is not a passing emotional feeling that comes and goes from the outward changes in our lives that please us. Without the peace of God, there are more emotional lows than highs; therefore, the stability of the peace of God far outweighs any satisfaction that we get from elsewhere.
