Amen, and I agree! But to be fair I attend a FSSP church that will address this.

I’m very blessed to know a wonderful priest who is not afraid to preach about topics such as this from the pulpit. Especially in today’s world, it’s more important than ever that we receive clear, unwaveringly orthodox teachings from the Church and her pastors.

I have a question. Why does God allow us to repent right up to the moment of death, but not at any point after death?

The existence of Hell can be looked at as a mercy showing God's grace. For some life in heaven would be unbearable so helll is actually a mercy. The greatest lie Satan can tell is that there is no he'll. Thank you for this reflection. We need this.

Indeed, Hell is a manifestation of God’s infinite love. A soul that is not in the state of grace cannot enter the beatific vision, yet the union with God that comes from beholding the beatific vision is the purpose for which we are all created. I have heard it said that this permanent separation from God, this inner and willful rejection of His love for eternity, is the biggest torment the damned experience. Yet these poor souls have chosen such a fate through their own free will.
