I want this note to be engaging and practical on a logical level as opposed to another argument centered on mysteries that can only be believed through faith. My concern is for those who cannot enter deeply into the mysteries of the Catholic faith due to the lack of supernatural graces bestowed upon the individual through the desire or participation in a life in faith. A simple (but lacking) analogy: How does one paint a house without paint? Furthering this thought, how does one even know to paint the house if he or she can’t see the need or desire for it to be painted? Why should anyone desire a faith of any flavor if he or she cannot see a need for faith for which to begin the journey towards God?
