Wonderful as ever. This I can also use as an example to Protestants who tell me that FAITH and WORKS I not biblical but only FAITH.

Yes. The Sola Fide error comes from a lack of understanding of the Theological Virtues and their objects. The object of Faith is the First Truth; it resides in the intellect and leads to a knowledge of God. The object of Charity is union with God; it is found in the will (read a movement or act toward something desired), and this leads to divine union. Only Charity continues into heaven; faith does not, though faith is the beginning of Hope and Charity in the soul of the justified.

This is a really deep reflection. I thought the meditation would not surprise me, seeing as I know that parable well. But I really was surprised by this powerful reflection!
