Beautifully written reflection. Luke always felt like the quiet revolutionary of the Gospels to me. A doctor who turned healer of souls. A historian who wrote like a poet. He gave the Church its first portrait of Mary not as a statue, but as a woman who said yes to chaos and birthed God into the world. Through word and image, Luke made the invisible visible.
Excellent!!!!
Holy Apostle and Evangelist Saint Luke, pray for us!
Today is the Feast of St. Luke, not St. Paul
"Today is the Feast of St. Paul, author of the Gospel that bears his name as well as of the Acts of the Apostles"
Your first sentence of this article you mistakenly put in St Paul instead of St Luke
Thank you for catching that!
