Can you point to a scripture on which you based your statement, “ Mary was born without original sin”? Thank you !

Sure, I can do so, I will once you point to a scripture passage that claims that scripture is the only/unique medium of revelation & doctrine.

I am not offended by your comment.

The particular question you asked is often asked by Protestants who advocate for the doctrine of Sola Scriptura. The question you asked, in itself, assumes the doctrine of Sola Scriptura is taught by scripture itself. If it cannot be demonstrated to be taught in Sacred Scripture then there is nothing that compels the Catholic to answer the question—because it could be quite possibly a teaching only from apostolic tradition.

Though I can show where the teaching exists in the gospel text, I think it’s also important to establish if I must demonstrate the doctrine being taught in scripture for the purpose of teaching correct doctrine.

The Council of Ephesus tried to define mystery with paperwork. Men drew lines around what could never be contained and called it doctrine. But the truth of Mary was never in the councils. It was in her consent.

She didn’t theorize divinity. She embodied it. Her yes was the first act of divine cooperation between flesh and infinity.

Theotokos isn’t a title. It’s a warning. Every time a woman says yes to love, to justice, to life itself, the Holy returns through her.
