We are all called to intercede for others; but Jesus Christ, as our High Priest intercessor at the right hand of the Father, performs an intercessory function that is not possible for anyone else (cf. Hebrews 7:25-26; 4:14-16).

These so called "deadly sin" are often associated with one having an unfortunate personality, opposite of desired spiritual traits. These opposing good and evil traits can fully explained in Galatians 5:16-26

Interesting comment. What is the relationship to the reflection? Just want to know. Good discussion.

Is it this paragraph? @Jesus is always at work interceding, advocating, and mediating for us with the Father. Think of this next time you, God forbid, fall into sin. Even as you and I fall, Christ is faithful. He is already interceding with the Father on our behalf. God loves you and I that much!”

Hmm. Why the phrase “so called” & in parenthesis deadly sin?

What do you make of Sacred Scripture which differentiates between sin that is not deadly and sin that is?

1 John 5:16 If anyone sees his brother sinning, if the sin is not deadly, he should pray to God and he will give him life. This is only for those whose sin is not deadly. There is such a thing as deadly sin, about which I do not say that you should pray.

Perhaps I wasn't relly in a good spiritual state when I put forth this comment your speaking of.The deadly sins like pride and those that "soweth discord among brethren",are more or less,in my opinion, negative personality traits, while a really deadly sin like"feet quick to shed blood",is,in my opinion,a deadly sin!
