"That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me". Notice Jesus does not say "that my Faithful may believe", but He says "that the world will believe". In this manner, Jesus holds the world accountable for knowing He has been sent as the Savior by our Father and then ignoring His authority.

For those who have been deceived to conclude that a mere personal relationship with our Triune God is sufficient to establish the life of our God that He hopes to establish within us, read Jesus' words carefully and guess again. What members of the Holy Trinity not only offer to us, but expect of us is no mere emulation, relation, or admiration as we frequently and falsely conclude. Out of the mouth of Jesus, the communion our God offers us is no less than a permeation of the entire being of every one of God's faithful with His. Do we really believe the sort of consummate union with God that Jesus expects of us can occur with the puny effects we have trained ourselves to expect? Not hardly. Ask yourself this question, "if Scripture indicates to us that men can become possessed by demons, how can we then conclude that at the hand of our limitlessly benevolent God that men cannot or should not expect to become possessed by Him?" He indicates to us incessantly everywhere in Scripture that He cannot countenance spending His life in eternity without being bound consummately and irrevocably to ours. Tall order for us but an even taller one for Him. I can assure anyone who cares to hear that men cannot enter Heaven until we tender ourselves freely to God, doing so in a manner that is wholly unqualified such that the permeation of our heart by God, where He can freely reside with our consent, becomes His true home. I would encourage initiating a surrender to Him consistent with that consent without delay.
