What has become abundantly clear to me is that God operates from a mindset of abundance - He is from Heaven after all. Yet the object of His Abundance is the treasure of Himself, our inheritance. He looks at what we have, and sees it as so small, vacuous (vanity), and by piercing into our soul's longing, see's his beloved children starving, while effectively swallowing an illusion. We are fools when we store up for ourselves things of this world, most especially from His perspective of abundant generosity.
