Yes. Isaiah 50: 4-10. God gave me this verse in my 20s. I am now 70. He did as he said.
4 The Lord God has given me
the tongue of a teacher,[a]
that I may know how to sustain
the weary with a word.
Morning by morning he wakens—
wakens my ear
to listen as those who are taught.
5 The Lord God has opened my ear,
and I was not rebellious,
I did not turn backward.
6 I gave my back to those who struck me,
and my cheeks to those who pulled out the beard;
I did not hide my face
from insult and spitting.
I speak to the weary a word that will wake them.
There is a new book out called God's Grandeur: the Catholic Case for Intelligent Design. It is a collection of essays by Catholic scientists, philosophers, and theologians and one poet.

An inspiring book with a beautiful title

I’m not a scientist, a philosopher or a theologian- I’m not even a Catholic- but this is an inspiring book with a beautiful title. The connection with Gerard Manley Hopkins is just lovely. For me, the book goes a long way in healing today’s Fact/Value split by pointing towards the Ground that unites both. A real encouragement for those of us living in a postmodern society increasingly dominated by smiling nihilism.
