Did you know that Fulton J. Sheen wrote and narrated an American documentary about the Vatican? In 1941, before his famous and award-winning TV show Life is Worth Living existed, Sheen wrote the script and narrated the documentary “The Story of the Vatican.” It was directed by Jean Pages and produced by The March of Time. It was released on July 18, 1941, by RKO Radio Pictures which was famous for producing the movies King Kong (1933) and Citizen Kane (1941). The same studio would go on to co-produce It’s A Wonderful Life in 1946.
