The Hail Mary is always my go to prayer to ward off evil, and doing the rosary often. Thank you for the reflection.

Beautiful! When this happens, I recall St John Paul II ‘s words : DO NOT BE AFRAID. The Devil is nothing, God is almighty

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this reflection! This issue needs to be addressed. Few wish to talk about it. Some try to deny evil spirits actually exist. But satan and his cohorts are real and active. I agree we need to be balanced and not go to extremes, but yet remain aware.

I have experienced attacks too, and to answer your question, the name of Jesus was all I could say. Sometimes I barely could get out, but I did and it worked. Praise be the Lord Jesus!

God has allowed Satan and his evil powers and principalities access to us and into our lives. However, Satan is not granted total rule over us,especiallyif we have attained salvation. Many people have power over certain areas of evil by invoking the name, blood of Jesus;or as Catholics do,asking for the intercession of the saint;particularily saints Michael,Joseph, and ofcouse,Mary!
