Eucharistic Adoration Prayer

My most precious Jesus; seeker of those who are lost, final refuge of those on the brink of hopelessness, and source of my salvation. With great humility, and on my knees, I approach You. Not out of fear of an admonishment deserved, but with a sincere and contrite heart.

I have offended You, and You absolve me. I have looked past You, and You keep Your gaze fixed on me. I have forgotten You, yet You never abandon me.

Touch my heart, Lord. Make me conscience of Your never-ending presence in my life. Help me to know and publicly acknowledge the sacrifice You made for me on Calvary and continue to make for me every day. Help me to reflect upon, and truly understand the words of Your prophet Isaiah:

“He was pierced for our sins, crushed for our iniquity. He bore the punishment that makes us whole, and by His wounds we are healed.”

I ask this, Lord, in Your most precious name, the name that stands above all others, Jesus Christ.
