This is truly a wonderful reflection. I subscribe to several reflection sites including International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Time and time again all these sites are on the same page each day with the same message. Today this was so! I believe the Holy Spirit is very much in charge of the people of God. He is surely at work!!!! I pray we all listen!!!
We always want to remember that temptation and other crosses are given to us and allowed by God for our Sanctification. More than that though, if He allows a cross to enter our lives, He gives the grace to carry that cross. It is up to us to cooperate with that grace and all that cross to bring about fruit.

If this is God's will for me in my life to be stifled and shut down,than,Lord,help me to submit to it and accept it.
