Anxiety does reveal deeper needs. It primarily reveals a lack of God’s peace. This is why the relationship between the helper and the suffering person matters so much; but human helpers often do not direct you to the ultimate Helper. Being anxious for nothing by casting all of our care on God covers a multitude of sins. We need to make more use of this.
