An Important Message for YOU Dictated by God the Father to Mother Eugenia Elisabetta Ravasio
Gospel Reflection for September 11, 2023
“On another sabbath he went into the synagogue and taught, and there was a man there whose right hand was withered. The scribes and the Pharisees watched him closely to see if he would cure on the sabbath so that they might discover a reason to accuse him. But he realized their intentions and said to the man with the withered hand, ‘Come up and stand before us.’ And he rose and stood there. Then Jesus said to them, ‘I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?’ Looking around at them all, he then said to him, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ He did so and his hand was restored. But they became enraged and discussed together what they might do to Jesus.” (Luke 6:6-11 NABRE)
Lord Jesus, we pray for peace, healing, and comfort for all those affected by the terrorist attacks of 9/11. In Your Name we pray, amen.
What do you desire healing from?
We probably all have something we desire to be healed of, whether we’re suffering from something mentally, physically, spiritually, or emotionally. Sometimes, our desire to be cured can be very strong and all-consuming, especially if we’ve been longing for deliverance for a prolonged period of time.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus healed the man’s hand in the synagogue on the sabbath. The Lord knew that He would face hostility and judgement from the scribes and the Pharisees, but He performed the miracle anyway. Nothing would stop Him from showing His love and compassion for this suffering child of His.
In a message dictated by God the Father to Mother Eugenia Elisabetta Ravasio, which was approved by the Church after ten years of rigorous investigation and examination, the Father—our Father—revealed His tender love and care for each and every single one of His children.
He said, “I know your needs, your desires, and everything in your hearts. But how happy and grateful I would be if I saw you coming to Me and confiding in Me your needs, like a son who has total trust in his father. How could I refuse you the smallest or biggest thing if you asked me? Even if you do not see Me, do you not feel Me very close to you in the things that happen to you and around you?”1
Our Father explained that though He chose to communicate this message to Mother Eugenia, He was saying this message to each and every one of His children. You and I!
He said, “I am talking to you, and in her whom I see and to whom I am talking I see you all and am speaking to each and every one of you, and I love you as if you could see Me! I want men to be able to know Me and to feel that I am close to each one of them.”2
In His message, the Father repeatedly declares His merciful and deep love for us, His children, and explains that He desires us to love Him, know Him, and to honor Him.
In our times of need, our Father is right with us. So, ask Him in confidence for any healing you might desire, and trust that your Father will respond. He might not answer us in the ways that we desire, or as fast as we would like, but trust that He will respond to your prayers in the way that is best for you, whether you know it or not.
Your Father in Heaven says to YOU right now, “I am the Father Who loves you more than any other creature will ever be able to do! Take refuge close, very close to Me, confide in Me your thoughts and your desires. I will love you tenderly.”3
