Wow, this is beautiful, thought provoking and spot on!!!!! In our nation and world today and yes even in our Church, we hear a lot of denigrating name calling! You might say its a sickness of modern culture and society! We need to pray for ourselves and all people and practice as Jesus said, loving our neighbor. When asked "who is my neighbor", Jesus answer was, to paraphrase, everyone!!!!
Very thought provoking reflection on today’s Gospel, Deacon. “Let us, therefore, speak of the other, no matter our level of frustration, with only “hushed honor” and reverence; with love” is a welcome challenge for me today. I will meditate on these words through my day to seek ways I can share the love of Christ in a new way 🙏
